If you’ve ever called Strong Man on the phone, you’ve probably talked with office administrator Donna Vogt. Donna’s friendly and outgoing personality makes her the perfect person to connect with callers and customers, though she really has a hand in everything at Strong Man.
Donna was raised in New Jersey and knows a thing or two about the construction industry, having been involved with her family-owned business since 1982. She first worked office jobs in the flooring industry, but moved on to become first a purchasing manager and then, a customer service manager. After 18 years in the flooring industry, Donna brought her valuable expertise to Strong Man in 2005.
“I like talking to people whether it’s over the phone, customers coming by the office or working with our staff,” she said. “I worked in an office for many years where I was the only one there for six hours a day. You get a lot of work done, but it gets lonely.”
Donna’s duties at Strong Man include sales, customer service, order processing, answering phones, but she also assists with Strong Man’s marketing program , sends out samples and tracks payables and receivables. She adds value to the Strong Man team by helping out whenever necessary and whenever possible. If it’s not obvious already, Donna is an essential part of the Strong Man team.
“I’ll jump in whether it’s putting samples together or doing the dreaded filing,” she jokes. “We’re a team, so I’m happy to help get any job done.”
Married for 37 years, Vogt has a son, daughter and four grandchildren. She is involved with Min Pin Rescue and recently rescued a 10-year-old Min Pin.
