Summer is right around the corner, and our debris netting is ready to get back in the game. As our most popular debris netting product, the lightweight, UV-treated SBN-22 Debris Netting can be used in a wide variety of applications including construction and jobsite protection, scaffold enclosure and worker and pedestrian safety. But did you know our SBN-22 is somewhat of a celebrity?
- Luxurious living. Our debris netting was chosen to protect the historic Dakota building, New York City’s most exclusive cooperative-apartment building. Protecting the homes of fellow celebrities like Lauran Bacall and Connie Chung who inhabit the building, our debris netting covered the project’s scaffolds, protecting the elite residences, passersby and tourists on the street from potential flying debris hazards. This unfortunately left the street wide open to paparazzi, who swarmed our charming debris netting with all their power.
- Fight, Fight, Fight! When Notre-Dame needed something “Strong and True” to keep the renovations of the stadium safe, our SBN-22 stepped up. Under the protection of our netting, the stadium received a new press box, new scoreboard, modernized concession facilities and a redesigned Frank Leahy Gate, creating a grand entrance to the stadium. 3,000 to 4,000 additional fans can now cheer on the Fighting Irish thanks to the heroic acts of our debris netting.
- Outta my way! The Pulaski Skyway is a landmark 3.502-mile structure in northeastern New Jersey that sees 40,000 motorists travel its two northbound lanes (toward Jersey City) each day. The northbound lanes of the 82-year-old bridge were shut down on April 12, 2014 for an almost half-billion-dollar bridge-deck replacement, disturbing many people’s commutes. While commuters were frustrated, our SBN-22 kept its cool and successfully protected the site during construction. Thanks to our netting’s chill demeanor and smart, safe design, thousands of people are now back on the Skyway.
Fame is nice, but our SBN-22 meets NYC Local Law #61 and OSHA requirements because its main focus is safety. If you can build it or work on it, SBN-22 can protect it!
