“Healthy” is the word AIA Chief Economist Kermit Baker, Ph.D., uses to describe the outlook of the construction market for the next 18 months. But, his comment comes with caveats in particular sectors, such as industrial facilities. High-rise residential construction, like hotels and commercial buildings, are expected to carry the overall construction market, compensating for tempered growth in other sectors. This is great news for Strong Man.
The majority of our products are used in exactly these areas of projected growth—most notably our D-12/Strong Wrap scaffold wrap, fire retardant construction tarps and debris netting. It’s likely you’ll see our products on construction sites next year if you live near such a development, especially in urban areas. As winter approaches, the projects that came out of the ground in the spring will begin to transition from debris netting to construction tarps or scaffold wrap to keep wind, rain, snow & sleet out and the heat in.
Strong Man keeps a close eye on overall construction statistics worldwide. This not only ensures we’re abreast of industry trends, but overall projections as well. Confident our products are the best on the market, we aim for every construction site to be as safe as possible. And more often than not, that means having Strong Man products on hand.
