“Construction remains solid in the USA.” According to construction industry tracker, The Heavy Construction, the national Construction Health Indicator (CHI) score was 86 in August.
This score comes from an average of CHI scores across many regions in the US, including the west, which is outperforming the rest of the country with a CHI of 87. This number is a shared average between the Southwest, Pacific Northwest and California regions, each of which is performing brilliantly in its own right.
Highlights inside these regions include the LA Rams’ new $2.5 billion stadium in Inglewood, Disney’s new Star Wars Land at Disneyland and the world’s largest telescope being erected atop the Maunan Kea volcano.
Other strong areas include Orlando, Florida, where apartment buildings are on the rise, and Austin, Texas, which is getting its own Apple campus. This news comes as no surprise to Strong Man, who’s seen strong numbers themselves in 2016.
Strong Man is well positioned to service the industry and handle these strong numbers with distribution centers in Pompton Plains, NJ & Houston, TX. Plus, with the best shipping in the business, most orders received by 2PM will ship out the same day.
