Superior Scaffold and Strong Man Netting Secure Princeton Library

Princeton University’s Firestone Library, established in 1948 and the first large American university library constructed after World War II, is getting a makeover and Strong Man is proud to help.

With more than seven million books and 70 miles of bookshelves, the renovation is no small task. The renovations will take almost 10 years to complete, but the library will remain open. Superior Scaffold, based in Philadelphia, is one of the contractors working the site and a valued Strong Man customer since 1999. Strong Man provided them debris netting for the job. The sbn-324 debris netting selected doesn’t just block debris, it also offers wind and sun protection, is highly durable and won’t unravel when cut.

As a teaching and research mecca, it’s essential the library remain open and accessible. Thanks to Superior Scaffold and Strong Man, that won’t be an issue.
